 Prompt Response: The most compelling issue to immigration and border control is how the officers treat immigrants. They are treated like they are not humans and it makes me empathetic because no one deserves that. One of the articles I read talked about how there wasn't proper care in the camps either which led to many diseases and infections to increase. 

Summary: We were working on our sources and doing the citations. We then had to summarize all the sources and explain why we chose the source for our topic. We had to do it in alphabetical order as well.

Reflection: The sources I found helped me realize how immigrants were really treated and how they were seen. The government trying to deport many immigrants back in any way they can.

Prompt Response: A special place for me is the Royal Ballroom. Last year during January, me and my court started practicing for my 15's. In Hispanic culture it is a big deal and it lead till March 2. On that day I remember waking up so early and getting ready and putting my dress on. At the venue there was around 350 guests who came for me and in that moment it felt surreal. I will always that day where I danced with friends and family and earned a lot of gifts. Summary: In class we read about the "Navajo Creation Story" and analyzed it. Reflection: It showed me to always be grateful for the memories and the things I get to enjoy. Begochiddy created a reed which connected the worlds. Learning helped also understand that memories can hold your life together.

 Prompt Response:  My two questions would be what would happen after you die? and also why does our life have so many expectations and requirements if in the end it wont work when we die? Those two are questions that matter because I often think about them and changes my perspective many times over and over again. Summary: We worked on our own origin myth by planning and writing. Reflection: Creating my own origin myth helped understand that we all have different opinions and imaginations which affects the way we all view the world.
