Prompt Response: During my holiday break, I was mostly working or I was spending time with friends and family. I went to visit my cousin who passed away for his upcoming birthday. I also celebrated Christmas with my family and we ate a big meal and prayed to God over Jesus being born.
Summary: We reviewed the rules about the classroom and the restrooms. We then went to Writable and wrote our 4 goals for this year.
Reflection: 1. I want to save my money to pay off my car and to get a new phone. With saving money, it will help me understand how to save and help me start doings things on my own. To get this goal completed, I will split my check in half and give it to my mom and with what I have left I will split again and save it. By the end of 2026, I want to have enough money to pay off my car, and by March 2026 I want to have enough for my phone.
2. My second goal is to get my driver's license. Getting my license will help my mom worry less about me being stopped with only my permit, and I will take more people in my car like my little cousins. The way I will achieve this is by doing my ADAP paper and submitting the form for the driving test. I will schedule the day and get my license. I will do the form later today, and I will hopefully schedule my date for this month.
3. I will continue to work and find a second job to get more money and pay off debts and start helping my mom with bills. With this, I will get some stress off my mom and off of me because of the money I owe. I will get this by looking for another job that benefits me and then I will apply and start working there with my other job as well. I will start looking for jobs in about two weeks, and then I hope to work both by May.
4. I will play my instrument again, which is the trombone. Playing again will help me reduce stress from work and school and will help me with my feelings. It will be like a hobby and fun to play. To achieve this, I will buy a trombone and start learning new songs from the book I have and play again and enjoy. I will save money up for the instrument. I plan on getting my trombone in June of this year and starting to play from there.
