Prompt: Describe a time when you took a hiatus from something important. What led to the break, and how did it impact you?

 Prompt Response: A time I took a hiatus from something important was when I stopped going to the doctors. I lost my medicare and so my mom couldn't afford it and I stopped going. It impacted me because I couldn't get my proper treatment and check ups. Reflection: I am doing my past blog posts and catching up so that I can be on track.

Prompt: Use a hyperbole, an understatement, and a litotes to describe today's lesson.

 Prompt Response: I have not eating anything all day that I can eat a mountain of burgers. I stayed up to study for a test but I'm only a little bit tired. I think Fortnite is an uncommon game. Summary: In class we learned about three rhetoric devices and do exercise 1 for each one in the book. We shared in class as well.  Reflection: Learning these rhetoric devices show how we can make our writing better and to understand texts better too. 

In 2–3 well-developed sentences, reflect on how you spent your Holiday Break. Then, identify four personal you would like to achieve this year and briefly explain why each goal is important to you.

 Prompt Response: During my holiday break, I was mostly working or I was spending time with friends and family. I went to visit my cousin who passed away for his upcoming birthday. I also celebrated Christmas with my family and we ate a big meal and prayed to God over Jesus being born.  Summary: We reviewed the rules about the classroom and the restrooms. We then went to Writable and wrote our 4 goals for this year.  Reflection:  1.  I want to save my money to pay off my car and to get a new phone . With saving money, it will help me understand how to save and help me start doings things on my own.  To get this goal completed, I will split my check in half and give it to my mom and with what I have left I will split again and save it. By the end of 2026, I want to have enough money to pay off my car, and by March 2026 I want to have enough for my phone. 2.
